The Lessons I Learned from Using the Best Credit Cards
Greed is considered one of the world’s deadly sins. It is too much hunger for power, money, attention and even food. In other words, it’s always excessive. And don’t people nowadays have excessive lifestyles?
Excessive lifestyles that cannot be supported are the main reasons why families go bankrupt. They insist on getting a house they would not be able to pay in the long run, get more cars because they don’t want to be bothered arranging their schedules into one, dining every night at restaurants and shopping all the time. Credit card companies absolutely thrive on excessive lifestyles. No wonder people are up into their ears in debt.
I have had my share of getting into too much debt. There was a point in my working career that I had four credit cards, the best credit cards in the industry I should say, and all of them were maxed out. I had numerous calls from the Collection Agency. Those were not one of my proudest moments for sure. Fortunately, with the help of family, I was able to close those credit cards. It took a while to get me back to good credit standing so I can be eligible for another credit card application but I was able to do it. These days we just stick with citibank credit cards and make sure to pay in full everytime.
It is always good to have in mind that before spending, one thinks not once but thrice whether they need it or not. It is also wise that in times like these when the economy is down all over the world that families save more and spend less. It would also help if they save FIRST when receiving their paychecks.
