Software Programs I use for Work

I work from home and utilize the internet to communicate with my boss and clients and do work. I work mostly using open source software programs because my boss cannot subsidize costs of paid software programs yet. I don’t complain because open source software programs are really good, even better if I might add.

FileZilla
This is the one I use to transfer files to our server. Its interface is very user friendly for people who are technically-challenged like me.

Calibre E-book Downloader
Ever since I got an iPhone, I went to reading e-books. It is cheaper and allows me to read wherever and whenever, which results to more books read! I just buy books worth buying after reading the e-book version. I love Calibre! You can download books in various formats and organize from the interface itself!

Cabos
This is a peer-to-peer file sharing program which works like the popular Limewire program. It loads faster and doesn’t take much of your CPU processing so you’d have lesser chances of your computer hanging.

Do you need a flexible multimedia player? Try BS Player! It runs DivX, video, movie, audio, DVD file formats! And if you want to play, try Desktop Tower Defense!
