A friend asked me how to lose belly fat because she just had her baby. I actually laughed out loud, literally, because she to ask me, whose youngest is turning 5 and still looks 9 months pregnant! I told her that from what I have read, the abdominal muscles are the hardest to tone and she would need target specific exercises for it. I also reminded her not to do anything that might be strenuous 6 weeks post-partum. Taking care of a newborn is exercise enough!
