It’s a Saturday.
But we are stuck at home since my kid is sick. I’m also trying to beat a few deadlines so I can get paid next week. It sucks but I need a weekly paycheck to make sure everything is met around the house. The big lesson I’ve learned though is that you really really need to have savings. Not measly savings – but really, a six-month living budget (If you spend 800$ a month as living expenses, you need to have that much six times stashed somewhere). I’ve started last month and even if we get by, I keep $5-$20 of every pay coming in. You will be surprised you have saved $200 already in a month after. If I keep this up, at least we are stashed and we can work on future things. Let’s just hope things get better soon.
