Exploring London.
I am fascinated with exploring London lately, even if it’s only in my head and I do my exploring online thanks to the world wide web and the internet. I have made a list of all the things I want to try and go to when and if I will go there and first on my list of course are restaurants! You should know me by now. I love food and I love trying different cuisines. Out of all the international cuisines, I have yet to extensively try Mediterranean. I am scared of eating spicy stuff! But after getting married to a guy who can actually eat red peppers whole, my tolerance for curry, chili and spicy stuff have increased a lot. It is even safe to say that I am loving them already.
So there are indian restaurants london is famous for and I am going to share them with you. These places earned a rating of five out of five stars from real people who left feedback about them at QYPE so I hold them in high regard.
Hot Stuff, Vauxhall
19 Wilcox Road, Stockwell, London SW8 2XA
Basically a family run restaurant, its quaint cheery small space lends a homey appeal to its customers. The lamb meatballs are to die for and the kerala chicken is made with coconut, curry leaves and ginger. The green banana curry doesn’t taste like banana but the kerala spice is so tastey that the banana taste blends in so well.
Chutney Mary Restaurant, Chelsea
535 Kings Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0SZ
A fashionable Indian restaurant. It is now London’s most romantic and refined gourmet Indian restaurant and won the coveted Best Indian Restaurant – London Restaurant Award 2003.
Mirch Masala, Southall
171-173 The Broadway, London UB1 1LX
It is said to have the best traditional Indian food in London.
