I am currently in the city with my two kids because an uncle of mine came from abroad and visited. I now have two Lacoste shoes I would never be able to buy in the next five year. Color me yellow with happiness.

The kids are happy because they get to see their cousins again and get this – they can watch cable TV. I cannot even begin to describe how amazed my daughter is when she saw Winnie the Pooh on TV and that there is no shortage of cartoons EVER on Disney Channel! We need cable! The husband has promised as soon as he gets his bonus from his commission this month we will subscribe to cable and I honestly cannot wait. For selfish reasons of course: 1) I get to watch HBO and be updated with my US-based reality TV shows and 2) With cable TV on Disney Channel, the kids will be easier to entertain!

Directv has a current offer on their site – I can get over 28 movie channels and that I can save $23 a month for 12 months – sounds like a good one. Direct TV even has DVR – this is too good to be true. I get to watch my shows even if Disney is running! 

Directtv quality of transmission is amazing compared with cable TV like Comcast too – I saw a cousin who had Direct TV and it was like watching from a movie house!
