K-rails

The deplorable state of our express ways here are so depressing. Imagine a freeway with holes all over, you are going 80kph and you hit a hole and it would seem you are walking in the moon.

I just thought I’d rant about it because I have a sore backside (and derriere for the matter) because a bumpy 3-hour ride to a town we needed to look into.

In the US, even the k-rail, otherwise known as Krail or Temporary Railing, are better than the permanent freeways we have! It is the temporary concrete barrier specification of the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

Jensen Precast has been buying used barrier rail as well as manufactures and rents it. They have four production facilities in California and have been manufacturing precast concrete products since 1967.

Jensen, save our expressways!
