For Better or Worse?
I’m not talking about marriage vows here.
It seems the wonders (for some, it is the horrors) of GPS Tracking has been gaining increasing media attention, primarily because of its said uses. I know GPS Tracking has been around for years – how else does FEDEX is able to track down status of packages and the military conduct its operations?
I think GPS Tracking is just more controversial when it was offered fully to mobile plan users, as a way to be able to track down lost kids, kidnapped people, help people navigate their way and more others.
The negative thing about such a good tool as this is the abuse. As always, people do it for their own selfish reasons – stalk people, do their own surveillance on suspected cheating spouses and for the military, track down innocent people. You would have known the horrors of it from watching movies like Enemy of the State (1998 – Will Smith).
Personally though, I wouldn’t mind. I’d rather know where my husband and kids are, no matter how surprising, than to worry about them all the time.
