Travel Goal in ‘09: Be Able To.
I have been writing down my goals for 2009. Hopefully, once I write them, I actually will have the tenacity and determination to really make them come true.
After I’m able to save $1K, I’m not going to be working for shopping money. Nope. I have had more than enough of that experience this year. Next year, I promise myself, me and my husband will travel. (Maybe if he can afford another vacation, we can take the kids along). And yes, it’s going to be just me and the husband. We really haven’t had the chance to travel alone together and with our 4th wedding anniversary coming up mid-year next year, it will be the perfect motivation for me to plan, save and lose weight (see, I’m selfish that way).
If we can afford to travel internationally, I’d prefer to go to Hawaii or the Caribbean. I’m no beach lover, but I just realized I “need” the sun to make me happy. The Caribbean has long been a dream and lately, the Cancun resort has been getting a lot of good reviews lately. The Cancun Vacation rentals has been featured more than once on TV travelogues, newspapers, lifestyle magazines and online articles. It’s not easy to NOT want to go there!
And the amazing Playa de Carmen vacation homes!!! Their vacation rentals are truly absolutely worth trying! Can you imagine having an eternity pool right at the confines of your own home? All I can say is, if I’d have more than enough money, I won’t even take a vacation – I’d buy a beach house! The one you see on the left is Villa Torquesa!
