10 Best Gifts You’ve Ever (Been) Given
While I was writing this entry, I realized growing up I’d receive more cash than actual gifts – so this was hard. I’d try to really list “gifts”. I’d go by the year here 
1. A pig stuffed toy given by my Dad on my 8th birthday. I wanted a fluffy toy that was in trend that time and I got a hard, not really huggable one. I still keep it with me, even when I’m 27 already.
2. The bear stuffed toy given by the husband on our first month together. It was really huggable and even had a necklace of our endearment to each other. It has gone everywhere with me.
3. A tape. A voice tape recording of the husband when we broke up and he was asking to come back. Don’t laugh – it has a LONG rambling talk, a song, and song he sung himself. Again. Don’t laugh!
4. A gold bracelet the husband gave me on my 18th birthday. Simply because it’s my first jewelry and it had the words, “I Love You” interwined all throughout.
5. The surprise debut party my parents and relatives gave me in Tagaytay when I was 18. That year I realized I was really spoiled in everything. My parents couldn’t afford the party I wanted so they took me to a resthouse, had a catered party and invited my closest friends.
6. My son. He was the best Christmas gift ever – born four days before Christmas. He was an unexpected and unplanned surprise. But he was the nicest surprise in my life.
(I was seriously stumped after number 6 for a while. I cannot recall anything after that! LOL)
7. The chance to buy gifts for myself through online jobs. I was able to buy myself a dSLR camera, a laptop and so many clothes and shoes for me. I would not be able to get those if not for that chance.
8. A necklace similar to the Y-shaped necklaces of the stars from Friends wore before in their sitcom. This was given by somebody really special.
9. A Kenneth Cole watch my cousin gave to me – it’s my first and most used watch. In fact, I have other watches but it’s still the one I’m using.
10. I’m saving this slot for the gift I’m receiving this Christmas *wink*.

It was 10 best things you’ve given, but some people might have had a hard time thinking of things, I don’t know. Great list anyways
