The husband’s office finally inked a deal with a bank that lets them give employees payday loans with a lower interest than what is advertised and given by the bank. We talked about it and as tempting as the loan might be, we decided to only avail of it in cases of extreme emergency.

So I got to thinking, what really constitutes an emergency? Well, the husband and I agreed hospitalization, the kids’ tuition fees and death (knock on wood) are emergencies.

I guess shopping for Christmas gifts isn’t an emergency.
